After a trip to the beach I am always looking for ways to bring it back into my life and my house. Besides the sand and shells and small pieces of maps etc that we collect for our travel jars, I am wanting something bigger and more tangible. Extraordinarily beachy. Here are some I am loving.
1. The Sponge chair from Edra. Ok, maybe just the name says beach. But it looks like it could float it’s way into my living room. Yes, indeed. 2. The Whale Bookends $68 on the Anthro site are a great addition to the nautical themed study. 3. The Astra Chandelier looks like the many sea urchins we saw in Vieques. This one you can touch, but at $1928, it’s a little out of my reach. 4. A delicious sea snack for some, for me, these are filled with chocolate. $49 On the Andies Specialty Sweets Etsy shop. 5. The Caracava Wall Tapestry $228 reminds me of the anemones that I cannot stop looking at while snorkeling. ThisĀ would be nice to look at from my sofa too. Anemones rock! 6. I love marquee lights. Although this Anchor $328 screams nautical, it is a great piece for any hangout or by the pool. 7. This painting by Gabrijela Iva Polic, from Sydney is not about under sea adventures. Although it looks like the reefs we’ve snorkeled and just gets me here (heart). So lovely. Found on ESTmagazine. 8. For the outdoor poolside party, the Cormac Lantern $129 from Arteriors is the perfect reminder of the fishing villages everywhere. Take me there.
